My name is Jonas Dahlström and I live in Malmö, Sweden. This website is an introduction to my previous and current photographic work.
I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember and have always had a particular interest in the aethetics of urban life. I have found that absolutely ordinary places are usually the most interesting ones to explore – and not only from a photographic perspective.
Right now, I am working on my first photobook. More information can be found under "Current project".
I have a masters degree in Russian language and literature and am currently combining studies in photography at Sörängens Folkhögskola with my work in the steel business. Previously, I have attended three summer courses at Nordens Fotoskola with Anna Clarén and workshops with Jenny Nordquist and Knut Koivisto.
